About the event

Please note this workshop is for youth

We invite the youth in our community to join Chef Destiny of FoodZen & Ceder Spoon Indigenous Catering for a hands-on Indigenous foods workshop. During this session, we will be making Three Sisters Soup and Wild Rice Salad together. We will talk about the Indigenous ingredients of Canada, the agriculture of Indigenous people with regard to the Three Sisters and food sovereignty, as well as healthy eating habits and tips on limiting food waste.

(The soup and salad are dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free and vegan)
