About the event
Land-Based Learning Orientation
On this 1/2 day orientation, we will talk about the Land, Indigenous connection on the land, and how to be a better ally and land steward. Land stewardship is for all people - whether you live in the city or have acreage in the countryside, we all share in love and care for this place that holds life and feeds us in so many ways.
In this session, we will take a step further. We will not only connect about the issues that face us, but also begin to learn a new way - a new practice. We will talk about ethical and practical matters of building a relationship with the Land around us, and do hands-on work to learn the earliest steps of mending our relationships.
